May 1940. The war intensifies, the French army collapses, the Germans will soon be in Paris. Panic overcomes the government, which plans to accept defeat. One man, Charles de Gaulle, newly promoted to General, wanted to change the course of History. His wife, Yvonne de Gaulle, is his first support, but events soon separate them.
