Plaza Sesamo


Plaza Sesamo is one of Sesame Workshop’s longest-running and most highly acclaimed local adaptations. Sharing the same educational heritage and beloved characters as Sesame Street, Plaza Sesamo is designed to address the educational needs of preschoolers throughout Latin America and reflect local cultures and traditions. Each 30 minute episodes features local characters Lola, Abelardo, and Pancho, along with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, Bert, and Ernie set in a colorful neighbourhood. Since its debut, three generations of children have learned to count and read with Plaza Sesamo.
